Meredith McCullar opened McCullar Realty in 1974 representing both buyers and sellers in commercial real-estate. Meredith specializes in leasing, management, development and brokerage of commercial property, including representing numerous national companies seeking property throughout the United States. Most of these activities are centered on retail properties with a focus on finding or creating suitable sites for large and small retail users.
In 1988, Meredith partnered with Henry Turley & Jack Belz and developed the Oak Court Mall in Memphis, a 750,000 square foot mid-city mall, anchored by Macy’s and Dillard’s (sold it to the O’Connor Group in 1989).
He and his partner introduced Harbor Town to the landscape of Memphis, one of the highest profile developments in the US. Harbor Town is an island in downtown Memphis touted as a charismatic neighborhood filled with nature trails, ponds, and walking trails that elegantly connect the town's houses and businesses. The marina, located in Harbor Town's backyard, has over 50 boat slips available to residents. Uniting homes and locally owned businesses, like grocery stores, restaurants, and salons is self-sustaining where leaving the island is rarely a necessity.
With over 40 years of experience in every form of real-estate transactions; the McCullar name is synonymous with excellence, good judgment and experience; subscribing to the highest standards in the industry. For a listing of projects, go to the Client List link.
On a personal note, Meredith competed in the calf roping in the PRCA for several years and won numerous major championships in the National Cutting Horse Association.
